Mr Munch

Popped into Mr Munch today while I was in town—it’s right by my fave nail salon, so I couldn’t resist checking it out! It had that proper café vibe I love: great value prices, a warm atmosphere, and the kind of place that feels instantly welcoming. ☕🥔 From the moment we walked in, we were greeted and seated with a smile—super quick and friendly service, which instantly gives it brownie points from me. The place was really clean and the staff? Genuinely lovely and went above and beyond. I ordered a jacket potato with cheese and beans, plus a vanilla latte. The potato was huge (no complaints there!) but I did feel like it needed a bit more bean-to-potato ratio to keep it from being a bit dry. No drama though—the owner whipped up an extra portion of beans in a flash and didn’t charge a penny extra. I was honestly so impressed and grateful 🙌 As for the latte—big tick ✔️ It was a great portion and I could actually taste the vanilla, unlike some high street chains where it tastes like someone just whispered the word “vanilla” over the cup 😂 My husband had a full fry-up and said the sausages and eggs were bang on. He was a happy man! Only small critique? It was a scorcher of a day and I would have loved if the air con had been on, but to be fair they did keep the door open to let the breeze through, so it wasn’t unbearable. All in all, I’d definitely go back

I've been eating here since before I can remember, and it still tastes like home to me. Even with the remodel and upgrade to the decor, Stunning nostalgic environment, great value meals that tastes great and arrives hot as the surface of the sun. I find it cosy and try to go when it's quiet as im autistic with anxiety problems and usually find its one of the few places I can have a panic free meal away from home. Fuss free and fantastic service. Keep it up.

Excellent service and a value for money Breakfast. Cash only, no credit cards accepted. Just outside Festival Place doors. Space for pushchairs, etc. It was really nice to see a member of staff helping a less abled customer with their meal today.

My wife and I have started a tradition of always getting breakfast out somewhere on a Saturday. We always heard a lot of hype around Mr Munch and after eating here I can confirm that it's excellent. Service was brilliant and food was great. It also has a very old school vibe

Waiter altay and his daddy were incredibly nice and gave me a free refill on my smoothie, would 100% come again, just impeccable service

Excellent breakfast. Fast friendly service. Fried bread was fantastic.

Lovely food cooked very well eggs was perfect
